I learned the value of a good teacher early on - I was incredibly lucky with my high school teachers, who became my mentors. It was my physics teacher who helped me define my future as a physicist. Thanks to my physics teacher, I now hold a physics degree from The University of Chicago and a PhD from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign - two highly prestigious institutions. I went on to become a professional physicist, tackling exciting challenges involving research of advanced materials.
It is this passion for physics, instilled in me by a great mentor, that I desire to share with others - either to become lifelong physics professionals like myself, or to get an understanding of the subject that will be satisfying and rewarding in their studies.
